Magnitudes of Lies

When you lie, lie big and if it is big enough people will make it the truth. Explanation is that, all of lie but we can comprehend a lie to a certain degree beyond which we cannot differentiate it from the truth. It’s basically like philosophy because its thinking beyond our limitations. If we understand a part of it we will dispute it or we spend all our energy fighting to bring it some meaning. Lying is the same, it’s only up to a certain degree up to which we can point it out and say it’s a lie. A little above that degree will confuse us and we may dispute it but once it crosses that limit we will accept it without a question being asked.
Level 1 lies – George Bush is an intelligent man – Ha ha will anyone agree
Level 2 lies – Oswald killed Kennedy not the CIA – Disputable and confusing
Level 3 lies – People who believed that a God carried the sun from one end of the sky to the other and brought back the moon in the night actually built the Pyramids

So when you lie lie so big that you yourself will believe it. You will be a legend

Che Guevara and Jim Morison

All of us as we go through life make assumptions but the biggest and I guess the no brainer assumption I have seen most people do is that Che Guevara is a Rock Star. It all began in college. There was a room in the hostel which was popular for multiple reasons however that room introduced me to two characters, Jim Morison and Che Guevara. I noticed these two characters both legends in their own fields practically in every pub I was at. And the best part was that their posters were always together just inseparable brothers and at times joined by Bob Marley when space was available. I never understood this. I have heard people say the funniest things about him; in fact one colleague of mine had a shirt with the caption "Che - Groovy Star". Now how on earth is a revolutionary a Groovy star? A man most people believe was "the person of the 20th century" along with Gandhi finds himself in a smoky pub. Would anyone dare put Gandhi’s poster next to Ozy Osborne and call him a rock star? I don’t think so. I am pretty sure his real story would impress you more than the fictional story that you may have in your head.

There are two types of people in the world, the Al Pacino type and the De Niro types. If people fall in some other category then they are special children

The fight and debate will go on. It is as hard as an Arsenal fan saying that Manchester United is a good team. I have had the pleasure of meeting both parties and the first thing that strikes you is the passion each of them have for their favorites. It was however just one person who finally unfolded the reasons which made sense.

If one feels that he is not loud or is unable to channel his expressions outside or if he has a constant feeling that he does not have the upper hand in most situations - more likely than not he is an Al Pacino fan.

If one feels he is too brash, makes his moves too early, has a constant feeling that he could have handled the situation with a lot more tact - Guess what Deniro is his man

I guess it’s got to do with the type of roles (Popular and similar) that these two legends have portrayed on screen which have captured our imagination.

Interesting that the star you choose and the character you are, are opposites and we are in a constant struggle to be the opposite
